Thank you for giving your time to serve our community. This page will guide you step by step — from parking to the volunteer entrance — so you can arrive with confidence and get right to work doing good.
- Head to South Wilmington Street Center

The program is held at the South Wilmington Street Center in Raleigh, NC. Enter the property via Gate 1 or Gate 2 off Keeter Center Dr. — both gates lead to the volunteer parking area, which is behind the shelter. If you use Gate 1, then follow it around, past Oak City Cares, and park behind the South Wilmington Street Center.

From the lot, you will see a set of dual exterior stairs on the back of the building — please do not use these stairs. Instead, follow the green arrow from the image below and continue around the right side of the building.

Walk along the side of the brick building until you reach the main access stairs, highlighted in green. Take these stairs up to reach the main level. A door will be on your left at the top of the staircase landing. There may be some men waiting in line to be granted entrance. Simply knock on the door and the staff will let you in once you explain why you are there. Once inside, you'll need to sign in at the main desk, then you'll be escorted back to the kitchen area.
