Why Join the Knights of Columbus?

Imagine being part of an organization that fills your heart and your mind with the joy of giving to others and the feeling that comes with making a difference.

Knights are Catholic men, 18 years of age and older, who are committed to making their community a better place, while supporting their Church. Being a Knight is more than camaraderie; it is being involved with your community; it is supporting your local Catholic Church, while enhancing your own faith; it is about protecting and enhancing your family life.

Today, we’re looking for the next generation of Knights; men of character and conviction who are driven by both faith and conscience to do truly meaningful works.  The tangible rewards for members are numerous, from scholarships for our sons and daughters, to being able to participate in one of the leading insurance programs in the country. Of the countless rewards Knighthood offers, perhaps the most inviting is this: The knowledge that, as a Knight, you can make a difference: through fearless service, through heartfelt perseverance and, above all, through unfaltering fellowship

Come see just what we are all about.  Take the first steps in Knighthood.  Join Msgr. Michael A. Carey Council 6650 for an information and admissions night the fourth Monday of each month (except December) at St. Michael’s Trinity Center at 6:30 pm.  For more information, contact Membership Director Rick Scherer 919-465-0602, or email membership@kofc6650.org. A one-time initiation fee of fifteen dollars and one quarter’s dues of seven dollars is required of each new member.
