Ladies Appreciation Dinner

posted Jan 26, 2019, 11:23 AM by Keith Biegert   [ updated Jan 26, 2019, 11:43 AM ]

At the request of the Assembly, we are moving the Ladies Appreciation Dinner back one week, from February 16th to February 23rd, 2019, same time (6 pm).  Due to the Hurricane this past Fall, the only 4th Degree Exemplification will occur on February 16th in Greensboro.

Unlike the past two years, this year's dinner will be at Saint Michael's Catholic Church, Gallery.   We will only be charging $15.00 per couple.

We will once again have a slide show of our wives/girlfriends and families that will be shown during dinner; if you are attending and want to provide pictures, simply email them to me.

We hope to see you there.

2019 CPO Food Drive

posted Dec 28, 2018, 6:35 PM by Keith Biegert   [ updated Dec 28, 2018, 6:38 PM ]

I hope that you all had a very Blessed Christmas and are looking forward to a Happy & Prosperous New Year!  Unfortunately there are many in our community who are in need, and will not have a happy or prosperous new year without our help.  As in the past two years, our Council has been asked to again help with the 2019 CPO food drives at St. Andrew’s church.  Brother Jay Foliano and I will be coordinating this effort and we are inviting all Brother Knights, especially those who are members of St. Andrew the Apostle, to participate in this worthy cause.  We will be distributing bags and shopping lists on January 19 & 20 and will be collecting food and monetary donations on January 26 & 27.  Please use the SignUpGenius link or contact me at to volunteer an hour or two of your time.

Family Picnic

posted Sep 20, 2018, 10:55 AM by Keith Biegert   [ updated Sep 20, 2018, 10:55 AM ]

Just a friendly reminder that the 2018 Knights Fall Family Picnic is fast approaching on Sunday, October 7, 2018, from Noon - 5 pm at Bond Park (Buehler Shelter) in Cary, right across from Saint Michael's Church.  There will be delicious food, great fellowship and the Picnic Committee has worked hard in planning fun activities for parents and kids!

If you haven't done so, please sign up via SignUpGenius or simply email me with the number of guests and what you're bringing (side dish, soda/water or dessert).

Finally, Deacon Brian asked that I notify our Council of a "national Rosary prayer movement" and Saint Michael's parishioners are invited to attend at 4:00pm the day of the picnic at Saint Michael the Archangel Church.  The intentions echo those of the USCCB Call to Prayer for Life, Marriage and Religious Liberty, with the clarion call that now is the time to call upon God, through the powerful intercession of Our Lady of the Rosary, to heal our country and return it to holiness.  See below flyers for more information.

We hope to see you there.
