Family Fundraiser for Operation LAMB

posted Aug 10, 2019, 5:29 AM by Keith Biegert   [ updated Aug 10, 2019, 5:34 AM ]

Brothers,

We are adding a fun, family friendly fundraiser for Operation LAMB...bowling at Buffaloe Lanes in Cary.  The process is simple...every bowler must turn in a flyer (see attached) when they pay.  50% goes to our Council's LAMB account!  This fundraiser goes from Friday, September 13th (all day), Saturday, September 14th (all day) and Sunday, September 15th (all day).

You are able to bowl anytime that weekend but I've coordinated with Tom Eifler and our Council will bowl on Sunday, September 15th, at 1:00pm.  This should be a fun social activity while also raising money.  If you plan on bowling, simply email me with the number of attendees.

Feel free to invite neighbors, family members, co-workers, etc.  All money raised goes directly to children with intellectual and/or physical disabilities.  Hope to see you there.

Installation of Officers

posted Jun 2, 2019, 6:48 AM by Keith Biegert   [ updated Jun 2, 2019, 6:53 AM ]

Brothers,

On Saturday, June 22, 2019 we will hold the 43rd Annual Installation of Officers Ceremony and Awards Dinner for Knights of Columbus Council 6650 in the Gallery Room of the St. Michael’s Conference Center. You and your family are cordially invited, and encouraged, to attend.  Cost of the dinner is $10 per adult and $3 per child.

·       Rick Lewis, our current Worthy District Deputy and now State Warden Elect, will perform the ceremony of inducting our newly elected officers into their leadership positions for our next Fraternal Year which starts July 1st.

·       We hope you will show your support of our Council and the new Leadership Team by attending.

·       Prior to the Installation of Officers Ceremony and Awards Dinner join your fellow nights and their families at the 5:00 PM Saturday Evening Mass at St. Michaels.  Rows of pews will be reserved for Knights and their families and it would be helpful to let us know that as well.  If you aren’t able to make the mass we expect the Installation of Officers Ceremony to begin at 6:30 PM.

·       Please RSVP to Steve Schaale, specifying how many adults and children will attend, along with the names of each family member.  Payment can be made in advance or you can pay at the door.  Reservations and payment can be sent to Steve at: 2606 Club Level Dr. Apex, NC 27523

·       To help facilitate planning, it would be helpful if you would RSVP as soon as possible but, please, no later than Wednesday June 19th.  At that time, we will need to confirm the catering and may not be able to accommodate you.

Thank you in advance for your support.

Vivat Jesus!

Ladies Appreciation Dinner

posted Jan 26, 2019, 11:23 AM by Keith Biegert   [ updated Jan 26, 2019, 11:43 AM ]

Brothers,

At the request of the Assembly, we are moving the Ladies Appreciation Dinner back one week, from February 16th to February 23rd, 2019, same time (6 pm).  Due to the Hurricane this past Fall, the only 4th Degree Exemplification will occur on February 16th in Greensboro.

Unlike the past two years, this year's dinner will be at Saint Michael's Catholic Church, Gallery.   We will only be charging $15.00 per couple.

We will once again have a slide show of our wives/girlfriends and families that will be shown during dinner; if you are attending and want to provide pictures, simply email them to me.

We hope to see you there.
